The Chief Players present: “An Evening With Edgar Allan Poe”

This program will feature dramatic readings of eight Edgar Allan Poe poems and six abridged tales of mystery and suspense. Special visual and sound effects will enhance such Poe classics as “The Raven”, “The Tell-Tale Heart”, “The Masque of the Red Death” and “The Pit and the Pendulum”.

Originally produced by Hunger Artists Ensemble Theatre on October 15, 2004 at the Byers-Evans House in Denver, Colorado, directed by Stacey Nelms. Adapted by Janet Chamberlain, Dell Domnik, Daniel Langhoff, Stacey Nelms, Joan Staniunas and Maggie Stillman. This show had a five-week, sold out run for ten years in Denver.

 

This show could be a great way to kick off the Halloween Season.

It is not recommended for small children.
