The Songwriter Series presents

The Hazel Miller Quartet

Dear Friends of the Chief Theater:

We have been closely monitoring developments on Coronavirus (COVID-19) and following guidelines suggested by the CDC, State of Colorado, and all our governing agencies. As you all know the situation is changing by the hour and after much deliberation with our Board of Directors we feel that it is in the best interest of all, to postpone many of our upcoming events.

Hazel Miller is Denver’s own Queen of Soul. Her voice has been called "stunning, moving and powerful." The Hazel Miller Band was formed more than two decades ago. The present members are a tight knit family of great musicians and singers. HMB performs an eclectic blend of Jazz, R&B, Blues, Soul and original music.

Ms. Miller toured with Big Head Todd and the Monsters for more than 5 years. They toured the entire country with great response from audiences. She now performs all over Colorado, Kansas, South Dakota, Mississippi, New Mexico and Wyoming. HMB has appeared many times at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater, both as the head liner and as an opener.  They have opened for Al Green, Herbie Hancock, James Brown, India Arie, Michael McDonald, Gladys Knight and many, many others in venues all over Colorado and the US.They also toured internationally in South Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Guatemala, Honduras, Germany,Spain and Greece. The tours benefited our troups serving in these countries.

Sirius Radio and XM Radio are playing her music on the “Real Jazz” and “B. B. King’s” Blues stations. Ms. Miller has been chosen to record a welcome greeting for visitors taking the trains to the main terminal at Denver International Airport.
